The Township Recycling Drop-off site closed on June 1, 2014. The closing is a result of the loss of a funding frant from the Lake County Commissioners’ budget. Curbside recycling, provided by Universal Disposal (888-246-0881), is available for a minimal free for residents who want to continue recycling.
The Lake County General Health District (LCGHD) is required to conduct food safety inspections at all licensed food locations such as restaurants, bars, grocery and convenience stores, bakeries, schools, hotels, and other retail businesses. Recently the LCGHD began posting the results of these food safety inspections online on their website www.lcghd.org.
Food safety inspections have always been a public record available to individuals and the media. Now this information will be easily accessible for consumers.
In order to understand how consumers feel about this new process, The LCGHD is working with a Cleveland State University graduate student to gather your responses.
